Follow A38 signs to Derby. At the McDonald’s roundabout turn right down Ashbourne Road. After 1 mile there is a major set of traffic lights. Go straight across the junction and take the next right into Vernon Street – Vernon Gate faces you at the end of the road. Go through the archway and St Andrew’s House is on the left.
FROM THE SOUTH AND EAST
(From M1 Junction 24)
At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A50 signposted Stoke on Trent /Derby. Continue forward at Junction 2 signposted Uttoxeter, Stoke on Trent. Leave the A50 at Junction 4 at roundabout take the 5th exit signposted A38 Derby. Continue forward when the A38 splits into 3 lanes you need to stay in the outside lane and carry on to the next roundabout. At the roundabout take the 1st exit into Kingsway - A38 (signposted The North). At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Ashbourne Road - A52 (signposted City Centre) [Macdonalds and Esso garage are on your left at this roundabout]. Continue on this road for about 1/2 mile to the traffic lights (past the Shell Garage on your left). At the lights turn right onto Uttoxeter Old Road, then its the first left onto South Street and you will see the front of Vernongate on your right. Turn right through the entrance and we are on the left.
M6 Junction 15. Follow the A50 to Derby. Follow A50 to Junction 4 for A38. Now follow the instructions FROM THE SOUTH WEST.
FROM M1 JUNCTION 28
Follow A38 signs to Derby. As you
approach the outskirts of Derby, the road drops down a hill to a major
roundabout. Follow the signs for Burton A38 Uttoxeter A50. Approximately 3
miles after the roundabout you will reach the McDonald’s roundabout
(signposted A52 Town Centre). Turn immediately left and follow Ashbourne
Road into Derby. After 1 mile there is a major set of traffic lights. Go
straight across the junction and take the next right into Vernon Street
– Vernon Gate faces you at the end of the road. Go through the archway
and St Andrew’s House is on the left.
