After merging as one Chamber across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicester in December 2013, DNLCC has continued its work to integrate the organisation. An important step was to implement existing Quality ISO 9001 and Information Security ISO 27001 Management Systems, which were already in place in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire into the Leicestershire part of the organisation.
We worked with the DNLCC on the project and our consultant Jo Hill said, “We have been very impressed with the level of commitment from everyone to migrate the systems across the whole organisation, especially with there being so many offices across the three Counties and the high level of IT within the business”.
The project was completed in June with DNLCC Leicestershire offices being recommended for inclusion within the scope.
DNLCC Deputy Chief Executive, Scott Knowles added "As a member based organisation with 3,800 members across the three counties our management systems are key to delivering our services to our membership. In particular the information security standard helps us to protect our member information.”
Scott continued “We would like to thank Jo and FPA for their support and professionalism throughout the project. Our members can rest assured that their information is protected with strong management systems in place.”
DNLCC is a membership organisation covering the Counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. It is the second largest Chamber in the UK and represents organisations from all sectors.
