Workplace Noise Risk Assessment

Avoiding unacceptable noise levels

Exposure to high noise levels can cause permanent hearing damage, often without the sufferer being aware of it until it is too late. The Health and Safety Executive estimate that more than 2 million people in Great Britain are exposed to unacceptable levels of noise at work with noise-induced hearing loss being the second most common reason for employers’ liability insurance claims.

We can help you:

We use validated methods to identify and quantify noise exposure in the workplace, we assess existing controls, and where necessary provide guidance on the implementation of cost-effective solutions to noise problems.

We follow the staged process below:

  • Work with you to implement control measures
  • Report findings
