The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations. Companies on the register are able to demonstrate they are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
Becoming a FORS member can bring you the peace of mind that your company is managing its Work-Related Road Risk (WRRR) – and demonstrates to your customers and supply chain your commitment to exceeding the industry standard.
Clients and contracts such as for HS2 (High Speed Two) are increasingly specifying that their contractors be FORS accredited.
At Bronze level: FORS accredited organisations meet the requirements of the Safer Lorry Scheme (SLS).
At Silver level: FORS accredited organisations meet the requirements of the Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) Standard and TfL’s own Work-Related Road Risk requirements (WRRR).
We can prepare you for a Bronze, Silver or Gold FORS Audit by doing a Gap Analysis on your current systems and identifying areas for improvement.
We can also:
FORS Version 6
Organisations with audit dates on and after 1st July 2022 will be audited against Version 6 and must therefore prepare their Bronze, Silver or Gold audit(s) against the new and updated requirements.
